I placed an order for a Bronco Sport Outer Banks MY 2023 on September 1. As I was shopping, I was told by various dealers that it is taking orders 3 to 8 months to come in. But from this forum and from an owner I met in a parking lot, it sounds as though orders are taking a year to a year an a half to come in. I am trying to figure out a realistic time I should expect.
When did you order your Bronco and when did it finally arrive?
How long were you told it would take when you ordered it?
Or if you are still waiting, when did you order your Bronco and when did you get notice that it was beginning to be built?

Ordered My Outer Banks MY 22 Jan 14 2022. Supposed to go into production next week.

Bronco Sport and Bronco are two different animals. From what I have seen the sport can take up to 4 months from order to delivery; the Bronco can take 4 months to the end of time...

Yeah @MrJimbo is correct, Bronco (mid-sized SUV) and Bronco Sport (compact SUV) are different animals.
The longest wait time I've seen on a Bronco Sport lately is roughly 8 months for a Badlands with the Premium package. There are hundreds (probably even thousands) of people who ordered the Bronco in January 2021 and still have not received their vehicle.

I ordered a loaded Badlands sas with mic on Feb 18, 2022, priority code 19. Salesman told me to expect 12-18 months so I settled in for the wait, more time to add to my down payment. I asked where I was on the list and he said just over 100 but it didn't matter because they had customers who have been waiting since the beginning and customers that got them in 3 months, no rhyme or reason on what order Ford pulled to be built. Fast forward to September I'm thinking any day I'll get the email for getting bumped to MY23. Then on Sep 1st I got the email with my vin and 10/10 build week. Needless to say I was shocked.

Dumb mewbie question, what does mic stand for?
Also , when Ford sends emails of blend date or build date, do they confirm what the order is, what is being built?

mic= Molded in color in color top, not applicable to the sport...

@BodieLighthouse , you may want to post your query in the Bronco Sport Specific section of the forums.
People are going to see this in this title in the "New Bronco" section and respond with 2+ year responses for the 2-door and 4-door Broncos, which I don't think are relevant to the Sport.
