What to Know

Critics Consensus

A pointless shocker and societal allegory, a film whose imagery is so gruesome as to leave you scarred for life...or rolling your eyes for 100 minutes.

Audience Member im writing this as a caution- this movie is vile in nature and you WILL feel vile after watching it. honestly not even sure if this should be considered a movie. disgustingly shocking seemingly just for the sake of being shocking. not for the faint of heart WHATsoever. do not watch it. if you are truly seeking out media like this to watch and enjoy, i suggest that you reconsider your morality and mental health. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/24 Full Review Bobo S Yeah yeah this is still better than Rebel Moon.Lol Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Sam Regardless of what anyone says it's very original and keeps you on the edge, there are many disturbing films with low production values and bad acting this doesn't it's very well made even if it is shocking also good soundrack Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Dallas H For years, I did my best to avoid this movie. I heard of its reputation and considered it a "must avoid" movie. It is a dark movie that ventures into the realm of controversial taboos. Then, one day, I found it was available to stream on a subscription service, so I watched it. It is confirmed: I didn't care for the flick. The story feels extremely bland and relies solely on its self-absorbed shock value. For 99.9% of the movie's runtime, I consider it a waste of my time. The remaining 0.1% was to confirm my suspicion that I didn't care for it at all. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review John V Watched this with my 7 year old, we never laughed so hard! Fantastic movie, dare I say perfect. He wants to watch it again this weekend!!! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Ben While the movie is largely unwatchable to any decent human being it is a pointy documentation of sad*stic extreme abuse. Something that unfortunately seems to be part of human culture since centuries. The staging and action reminds very well of descriptions of ritual abuse set-ups you find in writings of therapeutic experts in the field. Hence thr 3 stars. Otherwise I cannot understand who can watch such horrible movies without being torn. Don‘t do it. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
