What is the lifecycle of Windows 10 pro? ›

Windows 10 Home and Pro follows the Modern Lifecycle Policy. Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security update releases through that date.

On April 27, 2023, Microsoft confirmed that Windows 10 version 22H2 will be the final version. There will be no new releases for Windows 10. This means that when 22H2 goes end of life on October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will be fully out of support, 10 years after its initial release in 2015.
