      • Cassy

Which amount of butter goes where? Cook shrimp in 1/4 c butter and then 4oz on top after? Or visa versa?

  • Josephine

Made this tonight for my girlfriend and I. Absolutely awesome and easy to prepare. Will make again. Thanks for the recipe!

  • Jamie

I’m making this tomorrow for the other half and I. Which amount of butter do you do for the shrimp, and which for the topping? Do you mix the bread crumbs and butter together before placing on top?

  • Julie

Just finished making this…. right according to directions except I used 1 pound of shrimp. Absolutely delicious…. glad I did this trial run…. will be making for a dinner party with 30 guests in September!! Thanks for a winning recipe!!!

  • Christina joiner

Absolutely wonderful!! Loved it!! Might add a few things to vary it sometimes. Crab would be good in it too, some crispy bacon as well. Great just as it was or to play with. Thank you so much for the recipe!

  • Tia

This is the best recipe for shrimp that I have made in quite sometime. My whole family loved it. The only thing I did different was that I added garlic salt over the top.

  • Rachel

Do you melt the other 4 ounces of butter and drizzle it over top or cut in slices?

  • Julie

Served this dish, as the recipe called for, to my dinner guests last night. Made 4 batches of it in total. Everyone raved about it, many went back for seconds, and barely a leftover in the pan. Thanks for the great recipe… a winner to be sure!!

    • Sara

I am so glad your family loved it as much as mine did

  • Denise

Great recipe! My mom and hubby loved it! I added garlic as we love garlic!

  • Julie Zamora

Make this and all I can say is ……love love love.

  • Melissa Oergel

I have to say this is one of the lost Delicious recipes I have ever made! This is an all around favorite! Thank you!!!

  • Lela

What could I use in place of the heavy cream for a lighter version?

  • Amy

This was really delicious! However, we made some changes as it seemed …sautéed the shrimp (1 pound) in a stick of butter and the parsley along with sliced garlic. Then we added the heavy cream, heated thoroughly and then added 1 and 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan and actually 2 Roma tomatoes diced. We then poured it in a 10×10 baking dish (it was to the top) and added the bread crumb and melted butter topping – it needed more bread crumbs, approx. 1/3 cup to be crumbly. Will keep the receipt with these changes.

  • Carol

Absolutely delicious, simple for everyday or elegant enough for a dinner party.
A “must try” you won’t be disappointed!
    Carol

  • Amber

So on the recipe it says 1/4 a cup of butter, then 4 oz butter on a seperate bullet. Is that all melted together in the pan?

  • T

Wow! What A great recipe! I added more shrimp and doubled the recipe. I absolutely love shrimp and anything baked! Thanks so much I will make this again. Hubby can take leftovers tomorrow!

    • Shelby

Did u double everything? Even noodles? Wanna make it in a bigger dish

  • Shelby

Would I need to double it all to make it in a 9×13dish?

First ingredient, 1/4 cup of butter
Fifth ingredient, 4 oz. of butter. When do I add the 4 oz. of butter?
And are there any other changes to this recipe that I may be overlooking?

  • Jenny

    Shredded or grated parmesan?

  • Dana E

Can you sub dried parsley,if so how much? One more thing what does dd Shrimp mean? Thanks

  • linda berglund

“In a medium sauce pan – melt butter in the pan – add 1 teaspoon of parsley diced and dd Shrimp – lightly mix together and place into a 8×8 casserole dish.”

I’m sorry I cannot figure out the dd for shrimp. Help! Looks yummers!

    • Bren

I am sure it must mean ” and add shrimp”. The a was left out of the word add.

  • CWilliams

The best shrimp scampi ever! I got rave reviews from my hubby, who requested the dish again. When he thought I lost the recipe you’d of thought he lost his best friend. I think he was almost mad! But, I found it, and it was once again the best scampi ever.

  • Janet B

This was delicious but I wouldn’t bake shrimp at 450 for 15 minutes then bake another 10! Seafood turns rubbery if over cooked. I started at 400 for 5 min then let it finish cooking for the last 10 minutes at 350
With the rest of the ingredients.

  • Ken Easterling

I am a little confused by the instructions for this recipe. The way I see it, you need 2 8X8 casserole dishes.

In step 2, you melt some butter, add some parsley and add the shrimp [to an 8X8]. Then you cook it for 15 mins.

Then in Step 9 you transfer the pasta to a 8×8 casserole dish – place shrimp, bread crumbs, tomatoes ,butter, and parsley on top of the pasta and bake for 10 minutes.

But, you have the butter, parsley and the shrimp in the 8X8 casserole dish. Then you want everything on top of the pasta.

  • Ghall

Made.it and wondered if i missed something there are no spices salt/pepper etc.
My came out a little dry.
    But followed instructions exactly.

  • Laura Douglas

First you said to put the shrimp in an 8×8 dish. Then later you said put the pasta in the dish and put the shrimp on top. Which is correct?

  • leah

I have a bag of frozen already cooked shrimp. could i use that instead?

    • Sara

      Sure!

  • Lawrence Curtis

They all sure look so delicious.Gonna try em.

  • Cathy

I made this recipe tonight and everyone loved it. I added more shrimp because my family loves shrimp. It feed all four of us with a little leftover. My son in law is a big eater so the portion with the added shrimp was perfect.

  • Jill

Can I use frozen shrimp with the baked Parmesan shrimp?

  • Sue

Isn’t it too long in the oven, from start to finish, for the shrimp? Won’t they be overcooked?

  • De Tobias

I made the OLIVE GARDEN BAKED PARMESAN SHRIMP RECIPE last night. It was really good! I had doubled the recipe and added an extra 12 oz. of shrimp, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Everyone enjoyed it but agreed next time I need to add garlic and mushrooms!! (I can’t post the picture for some reason)

  • Susan

In copy cat receipe what does dd shrimp mean

  • Cheryl Pfleegor

We loved this Shrimp and Pasta casserole. I must have done one thing wrong because my shrimp was tough. How do I correct this for the next time I make it?
Thank you for posting this recipe.
