How do you get clearance level 4 in control? ›

Once you've finished the puzzle, speak to Helen Marshall, the Bureau's Head of Operations. She will reveal some key information that leads into your next mission and another area of the Oldest House. To aid you in completing your objective, Marshall gives you the clearance level 4 security pass.

The level 4 keycard is found in SCP-049's containment chamber, right next to SCP-049's document. It is required to access the head office and SCP 106's chamber (as of v1. 3.11.)

Like the first four passes, you'll obtain clearance level 5 as you pursue the main narrative, though unlike passes 2-4, you do not receive it from a supporting character. During Mission 5, Threshold, you'll head into the Maintenance Sector in search of Dr. Darling's Black Rob Lab.

Top Secret (TS): Top Secret clearance is the highest level of security clearance for most government employees. It grants access to information or material that, if disclosed without authorization, could reasonably be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to national security.

Level 4 security clearances are given to senior administration that require access to site-wide and/or regional intelligence as well as long-term strategic data regarding Foundation operations and research projects.

Tier 4 (Formally BI or Level 6) – public trust position. Tier 5 (Former SSBI or Level 3) – critical sensitive national security position. This investigation makes the staff member eligible for a top-secret clearance. Tier 5+ (Formerly level 4) – a select designation for staff needing TS/SCI security clearances.

The Omni keycard is a blue and white keycard with no text in the centre of the keycard unlike the levels 1 to 5 keycard and can access anything requiring a keycard, making it equivalent to a level 5 keycard.

This keycard is unlocked after the Level 3 Keycard and is unlocked when you have a total of 720 Global XP. The Level 4 Keycard is the highest keycard you can unlock for free with XP.

Level 5 security clearances are given to the highest-ranking administrative personnel within the Foundation and grant effectively unlimited access to all strategic and otherwise sensitive data.

A Top Secret, or “TS”, clearance, is often given as the result of a Single Scope Background Investigation, or SSBI. Top Secret clearances, in general, afford one access to data that affects national security, counter-terrorism/counter-intelligence, or other highly sensitive data.

To receive security clearance, you must first apply to an open role that requires a security clearance, then follow the government agency's direction to complete the appropriate application and investigation processes.

Search the objects scattered in front of the corpse to obtain the clearance level 1 pass. With the pass, you can access the mail room and other doors of the same level, such as the one you encountered at the start of the game. Note that you can check your clearance level under the Assets tab in the main menu.

Complete Golden Slumber quests

You increase your Clearance levels by completing the "Golden Slumber" and "Old Notes and New Friends" quest chains. Once you complete the "Dual Evidence" subquest, you'll get full special clearance.
